KitchenAid double wall oven. The boil element on the top oven

Resolved Question:

KitchenAid double wall oven. The boil element on the top oven is staying all the time, after it was put in self clean mode. I have tried turn off the power for a couple of hour but still the same. What could be the problem?

Hi, it will either be a shorted wire or a stuck relay on the control board.

applianceguy :

The wire would be at the element and shorted to ground.

applianceguy :

I would start by turning off the power and removing the screws that hold the element in. Pull element out and look for a burnt wire.
