Question Summary
I have a LG wash machine WM2010CW.During the spin cycle the machine began to make a loud banging sound. Everything else looked fine so I reassembled the shock and the washer seems to be fine.Answer Summary
I have seen this happen before and normally the cause for this is because the machine had a unbalanced load in it and came unhooked while it was trying to spin. When the machine just moves the tub back and forth before a spin it is trying to balance the load of clothes inside and sometimes it will try to spin if it hasn't balanced the load and cause something to come loose.
