i have a lg dle5977sm electric dryer that is not drying completely.

i have a lg dle5977sm electric dryer that is not drying completely. i have cleaned the duct already but clothes comes out damp. the timer will start at 41 minutes then after 2 minutes of drying it drops down to 15 minutes. what could be the problem? it was working fine for about two years now.

could it be the heat regulator? if not how much is these power control board? why is it the power control board? what happens to it?

Well a thermostat is unlikely on this, if the thermostat wasn't working correctly it wouldn't he correctly but it shouldn't cause the board to go from 41 to 15 min. in 2 min. time, the logic board in the control has failed, this control is $64.30 at the link I gave you, hope this info is useful, thanks, Bryan
