Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

Door latch assemblies commonly fail during self clean. Try starting a new cycle, pressing cancel and waiting 60 seconds to see if it resets. If not, try turning the breaker off for 60 seconds. If nothing at all works, you'll need to order and replace the door latch assembly.

There is no cancel button on this particular model. We did try to turn off circuit breaker and reset it also failed.

there is an "off" button that is your cancel button.... the same button you press to stop your oven when you're done cooking.

Turned the self cleaning cycle on, let it run for a minute and turned it off. Door is still locked. Should we have run it for some amount of time?

nope, that should have done it if the lock assembly was still good. Unfortunately you need a new lock assembly.
