Frigidaire FXE831FS0 Washer & Dryer Combo I am trying to

Frigidaire FXE831FS0 Washer & Dryer Combo

I am trying to repair an old Frigidaire washer and dryer combo. The appliance is at relative's apartment out for rent. Washer was not turning on. I changed the thermostat and it went on. However, the drum is not spinning. I change the belt. Nothing happened.

I notice a few things:

1. I do not know is the belt configuration is right (threaded as it should be)
2. The idler arm is no pulling.
3. The drum glide is no good.

I really do not know what is going on.

Motor drive is working perfectly. Idler arm spring has enough tension.
I am not a technician, just a DIY person. Freaking Frigidaire won't help me to get a repair manual or copy of the belt setting and dryer servicing.

Any luck with this problem?

Customer: replied 6 years ago. really looks like the motor to the motor pulley comes out. Idler arm with pulley to de left...idler spring to the left.

How should the belt be plce on the drum? flat side down? How around the pulleys?
Should I give more tension to the idler arm? How do I do it?

Repair manual available?
No repair manual..he belt should have the grooves facing the tub...Take a small loop feed it under the tensioner pulley...Pull the pulley back towards the motor..Fasten the loop you made ,onto the motor pulley..Release the tensioner pulley..A pretty straight forward fix..
