Resolved Question:

We cooked ribs (we defrosted it first), and afterwards the microwave would not shut off. We did unplug it twice (for 10 minutes or so each time), but when we re-plugged it, it
came back on and would not shut off again. Is there some simple thing we can do ourselves to correct this problem? We tried punching different things but nothing worked.

Hi, thanks for using If the microwave will not shut off after unplugging and plugging back in, the contacts in the main relay on the control are welded together. This is not repairable without replacing the main control which contains the relay. The control board, if you can find one, will cost more than the microwave. Most of those controls are well over $150.00. It looks like new microwave time....
