Theres an adjustment screw in the hollow shaft use a small screwdriver to adjust the flame to where you like it an turn to the let should make the flame bigger.

a small phillips doesn't seem to help cannot find yet a flatt head that is small enough. one flame is high, i have cleaned it in the past

It does take a small flat screwdriver you can also try to clean the holes where the flame comes out of the burner .

Would a "special tool" have come with the stove? If so can I get one at local Ace or order it or just buy a screwdriver that fits? thanks
Expert:  John replied 6 years ago.
No screwdriver came with the stove to adjust the flame you can buy one at any hardware store near you .
