On the side of the ice maker there should be either a switch or a metal bar. If its a switch flip it to the on position ( l ) And if it is a metal bar just flip it down.

Was it in the up position? Or was it already down?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
imoved it in the down position

Ok if it was in the up position that is off. Moving to the down position will tell it to start the cycle. It has to rotate 360 degrees and then it is supposed to fill with water then stop.

It may not do this with the freezer door open. If it has been shut since we started and the freezer was already cold it could be cycling right now.
