what's going on? Help!

Let me research. I know what EC 40 and EC 24 are, let me check on the 05.

Ok, 40 is excessive freezer compressor run which means the control basically thinks the unit has been running too long to reach temperature.


24 is a defrost under heat. This means the control didn't see the defrost thermostat open.


05 is a refrigerator cabinet thermistor reading open for 10+ seconds.


All these issues are most likely a fluke, or thermistor errors. Press and hold the alarm button for 15 seconds until the service clears. If the error(s) come back, you'll want to call sub zero to get a servicer to your home. These units are very complex and aren't really meant to be serviced by a novice.
