Resolved Question:

I have a Whirlpool washer model WTW5540SQ0. It filled up with water. When it was supposed to go to the wash cycle, it would not agitate, it made a noise like a car that has a week battery trying to start, it was making a clicking noise, then there was an electrical type burning smell, and the washer quit. I waited a while, tried it again and it did the same thing. No matter what position I moved the timer to, it did the same thing.
