Customer: replied 7 years ago.
That is the problem the motor is not staying locked and then there is slack in the tension again
Expert:  Appliance Tech Larry replied 7 years ago.
it does not stay locked ,, it slides back and forth on the base
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
That is correct
Expert:  Appliance Tech Larry replied 7 years ago.
that is the way its suppose to work
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Now the drum still does not spin
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
The washer is still not spinning the belt is spinnning but the actual washer
Expert:  Appliance Tech Larry replied 7 years ago.
will it agitate
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Yes it agitates like normal but there is no spin and the belt is on correctly
Expert:  Appliance Tech Larry replied 7 years ago.
the spin bearing will have to be replaced and that means the washer will have to be torn down and repaired ,, this will cost morn then the price to replace the washer ,, sorry for the bad news
