is there any way to make my ge monogram undercounter beverage

is there any way to make my ge monogram undercounter beverage center with icemaker model # XXXXX go to a lower temp than 34? i don't think its actually getting that low anyway; the drinks don't seem cold enough. would insulating the thermistor help? how would i locate this part if i wanted to try insulating it (or replacing it)?
