My Kenmore dishwasher stopped working today when I opened it during its was cycle. Now it won't complete the cycle drain the water or do anything, I have tried the circuit breaker with no luck. what can i do before pricey service call.
You might have a blown fuse ...Does the unit power up..(lights Etc.)

no, no power dead.
Unfortunately that unit does not have a separate fuse..You would need to remove the bottom kick plate...Check the wiring going into junction box under unit...Make sure there is power at the point...If so then you would need to test the door switches with a meter...Also you could visually inspect the control board for any burn marks...Normally if the boards on this unit are bad you will see a burnt area on the board itself..
