I have a electric dryer Admiral Model ADE7000AYW it wont

Resolved Question:

I have a electric dryer Admiral Model: ADE7000AYW it won't start. I know the heating element is bad so if I replace it will that solve the problem of my dryer not starting. I don't want to keep ordering parts to replace if indeed it is more cost effective to just purchase another dryer.

this will definitely not get the dryer to start. There is a thermal fuse on the right side of the heater box that will go bad when the element goes bad often. This fuse cuts power to the motor and everything else for the most part so likely you'll need to replace this part as well. It comes in a kit and here is a lik to the kit you'll want to replace with the heater.
