The Estate dishwasher is built by Whirlpool who is building Ikea's appliance line as well.


Electronic controls will offer so many more options including sensed washing. Sensed wash will add time because the controls are programmed to watch every aspect of the machine. Some people hate the added time, but it is necessary for the program to work properly. The probability of repair is greater on electronic controls vs mechanical timers. However, if I were buying new, I'd go electronic. Just so many benefits. I personally prefer Whirlpool products over GE. I hope this helps.
