How do I replace the baking element in a GE 15w0a2ww oven

How do I replace the baking element in a GE 15w0a2ww oven? I've purchased the new part.

Very simple, just unplug the unit first so that you can service it. Remove the 2 screws going through the back wall (inside the oven) holding the element on. The element will then pull forward and you can disconnect the 2 wires from the old element, then put the new element in and you should be good to go.

When removing the connections, one of them sprang back inside the oven's back wall. I was able to find it after removing some of the white insulation material. Now that both wires are ready for connection, I have replace the insulation as best I could.

Does it make any difference which wires go on the new element's terminals?

no, it doesn't matter which wire goes on which terminal at all.
