I have an old Kenmoore gas dryer that doesnt seem to be heating

Resolved Question:

I have an old Kenmoore gas dryer that doesn't seem to be heating properly. I have already had one tech out and he cleaned it and said it was fine. I don't think it is. Is it worth trying to repair it? I wouldn't mind replacing it but I don't see much of a selection in the color bisque for gas dryers and I really want the attachment that dries sneakers which also doesn't seem to be common place. I really want these two options.

It doesn't seem to be heating up properly. It heats but it seems to take forever to dry something

Did the venting that goes outside get cleaned?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
As a matter of fact it did and that's when I noticed issues.

Have you tried it with the vent off the back of the dryer?
