Sub Zero 601F Freezer, Ice Maker (IM). My IM totally failed

Resolved Question:

Sub Zero 601F Freezer, Ice Maker (IM). My IM totally failed with an open circuit Thermal Cutoff. But, now there is no 115VAC on the wiring harness that connects to the IM. The IM on/off switch is ON and I can hear the control relay energize, but there is no 115VAC at the IM unit. There must be a fuse blown somewhere. Where does Sub Zero hide its fusible link in the wiring harness? Where oh where?

Thanks, Terry

Well, now. It seems I must reinstall the slide out ice tray to make contact with the ICE MAKER switch, or tape in active while the tray is removed? Every time I previously measured the connector voltage at the Ice Maker connector I had to remove the ICE TRAY to reach the connector. The switch would not have been closed... I have ordered a switch anyway... But, I will check this out now.

As long as there is no hidden fuse somewhere, I am satisfied with your response. Thanks.

ok Terry, the door light switch button has to be closed also for you to get power to the ice maker, when you open the door the ice maker shuts down, a little food for thought, thanks Bryan
