Our GE Profile dryer DPSE810/610 stoped when the power was

Resolved Question:

Our GE Profile dryer DPSE810/610 stoped when the power was off this morning for about 30 secs. I reset the circut breaker and pushed start. All it does now is buzz, but it wont run. Suggestions? Many thanks, XXXXX XXXXX is about two+ years old.

does it "buzz" like the buzzer is going off or does it "buzz" like the motor is just humming but it won't run?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
It buzzes like the motor won't start, not the normal buzz like the load is finished.

ok perfect. That means the centrifigul switch on the motor isn't pushing power to the start winding or the drum is jammed. Turn the drum by hand and make sure the drum still turns. Sometimes this will reset the switch if it's just stuck as well. If not then unfortunately you need to replace the motor itself because the switch is built into the motor.
