I have a 4 year old LP gas Whirlpool dryer and today out of the blue it quit getting hot.
It still spins fine but makes no heat. Nothing changed around our house and we still have gas to our range and hot water heater. The model # XXXXX XXXXX Any ideas on what may have happened? Thanks! XXXXX

thanks for the question.

Was it taking longer to dry a load before this happened.

Hi, I don't think so. It seems that it just went from normal to cold.

Take the back panel off and look at the air duct for this thermal fuse, they do fail if the lint filter isn't clean or if the belt breaks, unplug the dryer and join the two wires together and tape them so they don't touch anything now try the dryer if it starts up replace the thermal fuse.

I will check this out. Is there anything else that could routinely cause this problem? Thanks.
Not really the thermal is usually the part that fails.
