I am trying to reinstall the sump, I was told to be sure that the sump is pressed down in the grove good or it will leak.

Is there a trick to getting the sump into the grove

these are very tight, for good reason, usually use a very small amount of soap (joy, dawn) put around the rubber will help get this in all the way, wipe off any extra , just a thin film will work, try that, thanks Bryan
