Customer: replied 7 years ago.
theres nothng moving at all. prior to filter replacement on friday ,old filter was producing ice. very little but it was still producing.
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
unfortunately this means the ice maker itself is bad, there are no serviceable parts in it, it would need to be replaced. these are electronic and the board inside is bad, it was slowly dying and when you turn it off then back on the next day it went,

is it an easy installation? can i get this part at any local store?
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.

not to bad, there are screws holding it through the holes you can see just above the fingers, you take them out and unplug it and replace, heres a link if you want to order it online or you can call a local parts supllier in your area and they will probably need to order it though, thanks, Bryan
