I have a 1992 vintage spacemaker microwave. The handle broke

This answer was rated:

I have a 1992 vintage spacemaker microwave. The handle broke off, and I cannot determine how to access the screws inside the door to replace it. (On my GE double oven, for instance, there is a trim edge which pops easily off the top, and you can get to the screws. But on the microwave, the door seems solidly sealed. The schematic drawing shows it to be layered, but it's not clear as to how they are fastened (or dismantled.)
the inner trim marked # XXXXX on this diagram, snaps off, take a small screw driver and gently pry this off, then you can get at the screws, thanks Bryan
