can you get me the full model # ? thanks Bryan
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
where do i find the model number, it is a fairly new washer
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
First, here are some tips to help with your model number:
  1. Don't enter a dash if it's not required.
  2. Don't enter any blank spaces.
  3. Be sure a zero is not the letter O.
  4. Be sure a lower case L is not a 1.
  5. Kenmore models always have a 3 digit prefix such as 110 or 665, then a period, then more numbers.
Next, look for an aluminum tag--or a silver or white adhesive label. The model number may be printed or stamped onto the tag and it may be written in two different type sizes or styles.

You might find the tag in one of these places:

Top-loading washer only

  • Under the lid
  • On the back of the control panel
  • On the lower-front or side of the main cabinet body

Front-loading washer only

  • Behind the door
  • Behind or on top of the control panel
  • On the side of the unit near the front

Top- or front-loading washer-dryer combination unit

  • Inside the dryer door, on the door frame
  • On the top of the dryer
  • On the side of the washer, near the bottom, front
  • Under the washer lid

it is a whirlpool sport washer, and i can not get the door open it is a front load washer
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
ok you will need to remove the bottom panel under the door, (there are 3 screws holding it) you may have to get down low to the floor to see them, the you will need to reach up to the door lock assembly and pull the ring at the bottom to release the door, you can see the ring in this picture, it will be facing down in the machine,Part(NNN) NNN-NNNN width=let me know when you get the number, thanks Bryan

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves turn off.

This error code is only shown in Diagnostic test.

Possible Causes/Procedure

- Ask the customer how much detergent they are using and if it is HE

detergent. May have too much suds present causing this condition.

- Turn washer ON to verify pump operates; run the drain cycle.

- Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.

- Unplug washer or disconnect power

- Make sure that wire harness connections at the Drain Pump, Pressure SW,

& CCU (DP2, PR6 cavities) connectors are not broken or with wires detached,

and that connector internal pins are visible.

- Check continuity from the Drain Pump & CCU (DP2 cavity) connectors.

- Check continuity from the Pressure SW & CCU (PR6 cavity) connectors.

- If the continuity diagnosis failed, Main Harness must be replaced.

- Plug in washer or reconnect power.

- Run the drain cycle.

- If the failure continues, unplug washer or disconnect power.

- Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.

- Disassemble the drain pump from the washer.

- Check that the impeller is not detached from the motor shaft. If the

impeller is detached from the shaft, is broken or has any scratches,

the drain pump must be replaced.

- Plug in washer or reconnect power.

- Verify the unit operation by performing the Diagnostic Test cycle.

- After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect

power and wait for 15 seconds.

I beleive you need to clean the drain coin catch , when you have the bottom panel off you will see the drain pump in the front middle, unscrew the drain catch and check for coins or something blocking the drain system, get lots of towels there will be water, thanks Bryan, heres a link to all the diagnostic tests if that fails,

Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
it depends there are some that have torx screws and some that are 1/4" screws. you will need to see which ones you have, I believe you have a block drain line so let me know when you get it appart, thanks Bryan
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
the torx driver is a star type of screw driver and the 1/4" I mentioned is just a socket type,
