We have a whirlpool side by side with ice and water dispenser

Resolved Question:

We have a whirlpool side by side with ice and water dispenser (no shut off switch) anyway, water is going to the icemaker and making ice but no water can be dispensed at the front. The water system is hooked up to a culligan reverse osmosis system.

first you need to check the valve for power, do you have a volt meter?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
no volt meter - are you indicating that the valve is electric?
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
yes it is, and most likely this is the issue, its a dual valve one side runs the water and the other the ice maker, Part 3307, can you make a test plug with 1/4" connectors? let me know, thanks Bryan

I don't know what you mean.
Expert:  Bryan replied 7 years ago.
ok I just dont want you buying anything you dont need, I was going to help you test the valve but without a meter or connectors you cant, about 90 % of the time its the valve, if you want you can try changing this and it should work, you can order this @ http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-+ed25cqfxw01-%3d%3dei3307&PartID=3307 thanks Bryan
