sounds like something is in my water pump. is there a way i can fix this without the expense of a repair guy

If you unplug the unit and remove the back the pump will be just inside. Be very carefull of the sharp edges. Unplug the pump wires and remove the hoses. Have an old bath towel on hand, there will be some water. If you can not remove the obstruction from here remove the mount bolts on the pump. Do not let the coin go too long or it will damage the pump. If you do need parts click here.
