The interior glass in the lower door of our Dacor MCS227R wall

Customer Question

The interior glass in the lower door of our Dacor MCS227R wall oven is cracked. Is a diagram available for this oven/oven door? I assume I'd have to remove the door first.

What is the part number of the glass and where would I be able to purchase one?

Part #12470 Sorry it will not let me get you the diagram. Remove the door (owner's manual will show). Remove the 3-screws that are on the bottom of the door then the 2-screws from the sides close to the top. Now you can seperate the door. remove the inner liner screws and you can then remove the broken glass pack. Reassemble. Go to for parts. If you need this for t-day make sure what you have in there is covered.

Thank you...

My manual doesn't explain how to remove the door. Any advice?

Open the door all the way. Find the u-hook in the near the hinge point. Pull each side back to lock the hinge. Gently start closing the door. When the hinge lock starts to lift and stop, pull and lift the door out.
