I have a Kenmore model 665 dishwasher stuck in the sensing

Customer Question

I have a Kenmore model 665 dishwasher stuck in the 'sensing' cycle. I have read that it could be a dirty pressure switch or that you can disconnect the soil sensor. What is your input on the subject - seems to be a common issue. I am hoping there is something I can do to fix/troubleshoot - thanks -

You could try it. there is a diagnostic cycle on this dishwasher. To enter diagnostics press high temp wash, heated dry, high temp wash and heated dry, All the lights will come on the control panel then press start. It will run a 10 minute diagnostic cycle. If there are any faults it will flash the clean light at the end.

Ran the diagnostic - no blinking lights at the end. Ran the cycle with a ton of vinegar in case something was blocked. Seems to have done the trick - thanks!
