Hello! It is VERY unlikely that you need an entire motor for that problem, but more likely you just need to replace the "hall effect sensor" on the stator (stationary) portion of the motor. This is a very common issue with all machines that use the direct drive motor that is used on most if not all LG washers. Its a 16 dollar part you can order from Sears and to replace it, just remove the back panel, remove the bolt from the rotor on the motor, remove the rotor, remove the bolts holding the stator on to the back of the tub, flip the stator over, unplug the old sensor, remove the old sensor, install the new one and then reassemble. VERY easy to do and can be done it around 20-30 minutes. You can order the part online from Sears using your model number, but the model number must come from the tag behind the door. I tried to find the part for you but that model did not come up in the database. Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks
