i have a g.e. 22 cubic ft.refer/freezer compressor runs continuosly freezer stays cold refer is not staying cold what could cause this? ant ideas

this means that your unit is no longer defrosting well so it's having a hard time cooling and can't push the air into the refrigerator section from the freezer. Pull everything out of the freezer and remove the back panel inside the freezer. You will need to thaw all the frost out behind this panel with a hair dryer. This will get the unit working for a few weeks again but it will continue to have issues because it's not defrosting on it's own anymore. Often, the heater at the bottom of the evaporator goes bad and needs to be replaced because the heater is a glass heater and often goes bad just like a light bulb. Here is a link to the heater.
