We have an ASKO washer, model W6221, the washer will not start

Resolved Question:

We have an ASKO washer, model W6221, the washer will not start in any cycle.
We have tried cycling power, and several other things (set the program control to 11 and start even though there is no water in the machine).
The water inlet was checked and does not appear to be plugged.
Both fuses in the back are good. The door openes and closes with no problems.
Is there any safety that is not in the book that would stop the machine from starting?

Hi yaCustomer

Only 3 things this would be-loose wire connections, the microswitch on the door latch or the control itself. Access console and check; it is simply an elimination process. Microswitch can be had from anywhere; control from Asko, see for part whse contact. Switch is on door latch- test it with a meter. No repair on control possible.

God Bless
