I have a thermodore drop in range and I need to replace a valve how do I open it model # XXXXX S# XXXXX
If you remove the burner caps, you will se a brass nut, these need to be remove, then you can lift out the burner, disconnect the spark wire and lift the top. Just be sure to turn off gas and power first.

Or there any special tools needed to take the brass nuts out
I think is a 22mm nut, a regular wrench will work. The nuts are brass, so you need a wrech that fits right.
