Question Summary
My fridge is set on the next to the coldest setting and it is not cold. I put a thermometer inside of the fridge and the coldest it is reading is 45 degrees F,also the thermometer has been in the fridge all nite and day there that is how I got the 45 degrees F there No yesterday evening the air coming into the refigerator feels cool but not cold does that make a difference?it runs for a good 20 to 30 mins before it cuts off.would that be the thermostat causing that as well too?Answer Summary
alright and you have air that you can feel coming into the refrigerator section from the vent in the middle upper back vent?Has the temperature been 45 for a long time or was it fine after you defrosted the coils and has just gotten worse slowy after again?ok but was the temperature good after you thawed out the coils?How long ago did you defrost the coils?ok, so if you have good airflow from your freezer into your refrigerator and the freezer is a good temperature but the refrigerator isn't, you will need a new thermostat control for your refrigerator.not really. The air comes directly from the freezer so basically if the freezer is working then the air is the right temperature going into the refrigerator.
