I have a "Service EC" blinking where the temperature read-out is... What does that mean.

Is there a number with it? For instance "EC06"
EC stands for error code and the number tells me where the problem is.
I'll also need the model number.

sub zero 632... it used to have EC 05 but know it shows EC onlu... Freezer set at zero but temp is 24 .

OK This is from the manual:
05 Refrig. Cabinet Thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds, or repeatedly read erratic temps

This indicates a fault in the refrigerator thermostat. If you are now having a problem with the freezer it would behoove you to have the tech check both thermostats.
