Hello! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will help you as much as I can!
have you actually tried to run the thing on spin without the pump connected? If not, remove the clips from the pump and remove the pump from the motor shaft just to see if the motor will run. Also, take a large flat blade screwdriver and try to turn the pumps input shaft (plastic) by hand. SHould turn freely. If not, you need a new pump. You will also need to check the motor phases with your meter as you said, but dont bother with current draw. Check the individual phases. Also check the motor coupler on the other side of the motor and make sure it is not binding up (rare), broken (common) or slipping on the shaft (common). Make sure you can turn the gearbox input shaft with relative ease as well, in both directions. This sounds ALOT like something is mechanically BINDING the motor and that can only be pump, gearbox, clutch (unlikely) basket drive (unlikely) May also be something stuck between the basket and tub but you clutch should slip under those conditions though.
