My GE side by side fridge makes too much noise. Sounds like there is a woodpecker competing with a ghost inside the freezer, how can I kill them both?
remove the inside back panel of the freezer and check for ice around the motor that the fan may be hitting and is there is any then remove it and put back together and if there isnt any they replace the fan motor and blade and you can get them at a local appliance parts dealer with your model number / thanks

I have found ice build up on the fan blades whcih quieted the "woodpecker" noise but the "ghostly" moaning and whining remained. Replacing the fan motor should get rid of this other noise?
yes it will kill the ghost haha
