I have a GE water heater.
This morning, water started flowing out of a pipe on the boiler, flooding the basement.
What the cause.
what can I do without calling service?

more than likely you have a bad pressure release valve on this, its eather the valve or the water heater is overheating and causing the valve to release the pressure. if this is really pouring out the overflow pipe the valve is most likely bad. Lowes usually has these overflow valves, check with them and they can probably provide you with it. hope this helps , thanks Bryan
