Pull the fridge out and touch the compressor is it hot or cold?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Its not making any clicking sounds?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
No,seems to be running normaly. When I turn down the temp settings the unit shuts off. When I turn back up the unit runs. The temp settings are at meximum.
Can you remove the inner wall of the freezer and check the frost pattern on the evap coils?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
I can't right now,I will have to transfer the food
Ok just reach in and run your hand up the wall and tell me where it is the coldest also is the fan in the freezer running?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Fan is running. The side walls and the sides of the rear wall are coldest. The center where the temp control for the freezer, are warmer

Ok im pretty sure there is either a refrigerant leak or a bad compressor.

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Thank you sir, I guess the refrigerator needs to be replaced?

Well if it is a leak you could be looking at any where from 3 to 5 hundred to repair. If you need a new compressor you are looking at about 6 hundred dollars.
