My whirlpool washer makes a loud banging noise when it spins

This answer was rated:

My whirlpool washer makes a loud banging noise when it spins at a high rate. I just replace the motor coupler and I laid the wash machine on its side. Is it possible the tub self levelers are not working?

Thanks for the question

Does it lean to th e front more than normal

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
No it does not seem to be leaning

When you laid it down , Theres three pads

on the structure where the washer slides easily on these pads

Look to see if there still there

Point to the washer to find them

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
One of the pads is broken...the other two are fine

One will cause your problem

They come as a kit
