I have a model LSR8233JQ Whirlpool washer. I would like to have a repair manual. My immediate problem is that the tub filled and went through the wash cycle but will not drain. The timer will move to that point but the motor stops and therefore does not proceed to drain. The timer does not move forward either.

Yes. I believe I can and did suspect the lid switch because it seems to be loose. I can't figure out how to lift the top section to expose the switch mounting. Can you tell me how to do that?
