I have a kitchen aid electric architect series ceramic top

Resolved Question:

I have a kitchen aid electric architect series ceramic top stove. One of the burnes is making a clicking sound and the light over the control dial clicks on and off with the sound. Burner works fine, not sure if it is the control dial or the burner element itself. It doesn't happen all of the time. Please help

is is going to be a problem with your control switch known as your "infinite switch" The burner itself doesn't do anything but heat when it gets power or not heat when it doesn't get power. If it's still heating then your burner is deffinately still good.
