This is an ovelaod relay switch which hoplefully is the only thing wrong with the item, you can click on the link below to order this item, it is attached to the compressor and is easy to install. If it does not help it then the compressor may need to be changed and depending on your warranty it may still be covered up to 10 years..

Even with a link it will require a service tech to install it as they have to be EPA certified for the repair. and requires special tools, the compressor will cost about $250 and the labor for installation will be in the neighborhood of $600-$800 being out of warranty..
