Would you double check, The washer stop after wash -rinse-spin, It should be complete the wash but it start the next circle and then keep go on to the next circle.

So the unit stops but the timer keeps going around??

Ok then if the washer stops when its supposed to the timer keeps going around you have a bad timer this is the only thing that will cause this you will need to replace the timer to fix your issue.

Is there any other posibility issue if changed out the timer but the washer still do the same?

No the timer is the only thing that will cause the issue you are having the contacts inside the timer are bad.

Yes pretty simple the back has a couple screws that hold it on the timer has two and just take one wire off at a time.
