I have a ge ceramic top stove with digital oven controls my oven stays in preheat. is there a sensor somewhere that causes this

hi,Customer,there is a sensor but what problem do you have? it just wont reach temperature? is this gas or electric?

do you have a model#? look around storage drawer area

is electric just noticed this morning that bottom burner is not on in preheat model number jbp67boh2wh

Ok,regular bake element is pretty straight forward,remove power from range,undo the 2 screws holding the element in ,pull out slowly so you dont disconnect the 2 wires,then just swap over they may be terminals which just pull off or small screws,reinsert and should be fine
