Expert:  master appliance tech replied 8 years ago.
are you 100 % on the error codes Whirlpool normally uses F1-E1 type codes
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
Well I'm not sure what I typed before but I just tried again and the code I got was F1 E5.
Expert:  master appliance tech replied 8 years ago.

F1 - E5Calibration shifted

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

I tried this and the Auto Clean still doesn't work. All of the other control board pads seem to work fine, and the stove and oven work just fine, do you think it is just a matter of time before all of the pads poop out? Any idea what a control board costs? Might it be more cost effective to just buy a new stove?
Expert:  master appliance tech replied 8 years ago.

the control board is about 230#

i personally think self clean is junk and causes a ton of problems so i would use it till the whole thing goes out and use an oven cleaner.
