Whirlpool RBS305prs will not bake or broil. The power is good

Resolved Question:

Whirlpool RBS305prs will not bake or broil. The power is good through the power conditioner board, and even have voltage (120 v) on each of the red wires that go to the element. The cleaning cycle was used and has not gotten hot since then, what is wrong??

you need to have 220 volts to the element. if you put your meter leads one on one side of element and one on the other you should get a reading of 220 volts not 110. the element makes a complete circuit and the 110 volts you get is just from one side comming through the element to your meter one the other side. if you remove one wire from the element and test it one of them is missing 110 volts. thanks Bryan, p.s. check to make sure your getting 220 v to oven
