We have an Insinkerator in our older vacation condo (circa mid 70s). It probably is the original???? I can't find a manual. We use the condo frequently and the disposal has always worked fine. It would not work at all this trip....no hum, no movement, nothing. It is on the same circuit breaker as a light above the sink. The light worked, but not the disposal. Question(finally): Do we need an electrician or a plumber to solve our problem?

HiCustomerdid you try the reset button? around the bottom there is a button that you push if it trips ,then if it hums only, there is a hex nut that you can insert a allen key to unstick by manually turning,if youve done that i would just call an appliance repairman

thanks Randy
