Customer Question

Hi. I have a Maytag Neptune front load washing machine that has developed a leak. I've inpected under the machine and the pump is dry as is the area towards the rear of the machine. I suspect it's the large rubber gland or gasket at the front of the unit. Is this easy to fix and how would I go about it? Does the entire machine have to be "disresembled" to replace this piece? Thanks.

Is there any possibilty that is may NOT be the gasket?

Do you have pictures where the screws are located to remove the lower panel?

I've had the rear panel off when I was looking for the leak.

Is it best to lay the machine down on its side or back to effect this repair?

hi. what i would try first, is take the front panel off, and try the washer to see if thats where the leak is. try that
