Hi and welcome to Just Answer. I am sorry to hear about your water softener.


If you can get hold of a multimeter, check the voltage on the AC adapter. On the adapter. written on the nameplate will be an rated output voltage (12V, 18V or 24V for example). Make sure that the measured voltage is per the nameplate.
