Our Whirlpool dryer (model no. LEC6848AQ1) will not tumble ...

Resolved Question:

Our Whirlpool dryer (model no. LEC6848AQ1) will not tumble the clothes when I turn it on. I can hear the timer tick, but there is no action other than that. Any thoughts on what could be wrong? I don''t know if I should call a repair person or buy a new dryer. We bought it 2nd hand. I think it''s about 8 years old.
